A high in the eastern Bight is moving slowly east while maintaining a ridge of high pressure up the east coast which will remain through the weekend. This will bring an onshore flow with associated coastal showers through Sunday. A mid level disturbance will combine with this on Friday night and early Saturday, bringing possibly 10mm rain to the eastern Downs.
Rain on Wednesday/Thursday on the Downs fell only in the east (Dalby 13mm, Oakey 28mm), with little or no rain further west.
