Weather for the weekend of 16 - 17 April 2011

The monsoon trough remains active to the north of Australia. A high in the Bight is expected to lie off south east Australia by Sunday evening. This will maintain an easterly flow on to the coast of south east Queensland, bringing occasional coastal showers. A trough currently in SA will move east and interact with an upper level disturbance on Saturday, bringing up to 15mm rain to the Downs on Saturday and some showers on Sunday.

There has been some rain on in the last 7 days, with Oakey receiving 3mm, Miles 7mm and Wallumbilla 13mm. Across the Downs, scattered falls of about 20mm have occurred in one or two places

  1. Totally off topic but I saw your post on another site re the mayfair witches, I loved these books and totally agree they are far superior than the vampire books (which I also liked). What kind of genre do you write and how many books have you published?
